Very Cool. I have the pump version of that rifle. The Win Mod 270. They are pretty good shooters. I use the pump as my dedicated Colibri rifle. It takes out starlings in the back yard.

What are the 2 bolt .22s? I love just about any kind of rimfires.

Originally the receiver was blued like the one I pictured, but since it is made of aluminun alloy, there is no way to reblue it. The original finish was anodize, I believe, but something like dura-cote, would be a good replacement, if you so desired. I would be tempted to leave as is, and have something slightly different.

The barrel and mag tube are steel and will rust, so oil them accordingly. The receiver, and trigger guard are alloy, and will not. Drop the trigger group out, and give it a good blast with brake cleaner, re oil (lightly) and put it back in. I have seen these that were FILTHY on the inside. You can take the guts completely apart, but frankly, it is not worth the PITA unless something is broken.
