And I quote
"Finnish M39 Sako 1944 MFG (the most accurate sought after) Mosin Nagant. These are the the best of the breed and super accurate. Refinished light green. No Trades"
and yes, it is light green. All for only $450! Ouch. The things people will do.

Another,
" 7.62x54r Mosin Nagant with customized stock, laser, ammo, 2 scopes one large and one smaller. If you are willing to take this as partial trade toward ak 47 please let me know. More pictures available if interested. 1" rings for larger scope are not included."
This one is even more sad looking. Bubba to the maximum! $450 for this on too. Just to reiterate, these are NOT mine. I wouldn't / couldn't do these things to either rifle.

Light green, probably the same color of the seller's hair.

After a few decades in the well what's left of him will be green all right.

There was a time when I would not have known the difference. As a matter of fact, I have come to terms with the fact that not everyone is going to adhere to the peservation way of thinking. If I see a ruined rifle, I really don't waste my energy getting angry about it any more. I see some of you guys rant and rave over this stuff, and I can envision you sitting at your keyboard screaming, cursing, and pulling your hair out. Too stressful. It's much easier on the heart to just move on, and take care of what you got, and try to help others realize how important it is to keep the history intact for future owners to enjoy, but mostly enjoy them yourself. And don't get so pissed at bubba just because he don't get it. It can eat you up. Who wants that?

Indeed if it were mold I could live with it and deal with it. I still want to find one of those bedliner ones at a decent price to strip and try and return to normal to be honest. I just want to see if there really are nails holding a junk stock together! Bill

Wow, you have missed some really great episodes, last night was a real shocker, I didn't see that coming at all. We knew there had to be groups like that out there, but these folks weren't what I expected. What's up with the "tea" anybody else pick up on that?

I picked up on when he said "That's why I keep you around." I have no explanation on it though. I would say this is go OT, but it was a bubba thread to begin with so who cares!
