Have you ever got Bulgarian when you Ordered Russian?

Post by Hobe Sound Falcon »

I did from Sprotsmens Guide, I got 1975 Bulgarian in stead of 1977 Russian, Silvertip Light Ball, Copperwash Corrosive Ammo. Which is in fine condition. Bottom line, Is I got what I wanted anyway, it's just Bulgarian instead of Russian, but they both use the same Alphabet. I could see how some kid could screw up. I did not make a fuss over it, but I explained how it could have caused a problem. for someone who did want Russian Ammo. They Gave me a 10.00 Credit which I used to order a Ammo Box yesterday. I intend to keep checking on the site. to see if they update it. Watch out if you get the wrong country, type, or Caliber of Ammo. Paul

Not likely a kid, probably somebody who's second language is English and wouldn't know Russian if one kicked him in the ass. The problem was poor supervision, ammo should not be getting handled by people who don't have a clue what they are handling. SG has sold me countless thousands of rounds of ammo over the years, never screwed the pooch on one of my orders yet. lucky for them they did it to you, I would not have been so kind as tend to order small lots like that so I can get a sample of it for the collection. If I had Bulgarian and wanted a sample of 70's Russian and didn't get it heads would roll. Have fun blasting that stuff away :vcool: :vcool: :vcool:
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

I bought a lot of ammo through them over the past few years. Lucky for me the main store & warehouse is within driving distance so I buy over the counter most times.

Enjoy that Bulgarian. 8-) 8-) 8-)

Nothing wrong with the Ammo. It is not worth sending it back just to get Russian instead of Bulgarian, I only posted this for general Info. so someone ordering would be careful in what that asked for.

i had a similar problem once, when i ordered five 15 round boxes of yugo m30[j], two of the boxes ended up being late war russian, was ok stuff, and i was a bit irritated, they were willing to exchange it, but i was just letting em know to be more careful.
