Anyone seen or picked up one these American Tactical STG44s? I saw one last weekend at the gun show. $600 was at the top of what I wanted to spend and didn't feel like pulling the trigger on it, when I had already found an Arisaka I wanted. But damn..it was sweet.

It looks interesting in the photos I have seen but it also looks a little pricy for what amounts to a replica in an easy to feed caliber

One of the gun forums I frequent had a bad review of it. I have not seen one up close, or held one even, so take it for what it's worth. I will see if I can find the review so you can view the negative and decide for yourself. The pictures look amazing though. Definitely nicer than my $125 Marlin 795.
