Took me two years of FUN shows, but I finally found the stock I wanted and the stock magazine.
Shoots real sweet with the Murray spring FP I just installed.
Added a 1936 Izhevski I just picked up today and will post pics of it when I get it cleaned up this weekend.
Here's the rescue and the wobbly goblin that'll go into the can.
Looking forward to interacting with affectionados like myself!
Not sure why the photo got clipped on the right.

Ha! I know that plastic stock, they were dirt cheap 20 years ago, I put an identical one onto a SKS I bought with no stock. It worked, and is still on that SKS, I gave it to a friend years back. I told him that nowadays He can find a real stock for it, but he said it works so leave it be. The cheap bastard could squeeze a nickle until the buffalo shits so I don't expect that folder to ever come off . That old Chinese military sks "parts" rifle was a free gift from a dealer I did a lot of business with, he bought a bunch of them with the stocks dry rotted off and couldn't move them even at $25 each, different story today! Nice rifle, good job with the stock

Thanks Dog, appreciate the feedback.
That plastic stock was so wobbly and unbalanced I knew it had to go.
Anybody want that wobbly goblin stock, they can have it!

Nice job bringing it back

, I've had a few of those stocks pass through my hands, the maggot masher at the landfill loves to eat them

I did sell one, only to fund something else. One was wobbly, someone seemed to have worked the folding stock attachment point a bit to much.
Also, those duckbill mags can cause feed issues, headaches, and my Tourette's to act up

, excellent choice going back to the original style 10rd box mag
Also, Welcome to the forum.

Thanks grease, never even shot the thing with the plastic stock and long magazine. It just felt too unbalanced and nose heavy. The wood stock is balanced and I don't find it too heavy at all.
Slange Celt! I'Ve been married to a MacFarlane for 43 years and we go to every Highland games we can.
I shot this group at 25 yards from a standing position which I thought pretty good for an old man with one plastic eye lense, trifocals and one cataract! That one at 9:00 was most definitely a flinch flyer.

Maybe as a first line of defense. Followed by slow and quick sand and a rabbit eating snake chasing puppy that takes his milsurps seriously

Boots is gray and white, his MIA brother was black and white, but the brother was a mean ****. Got a new kitten running around that is cow coated black and white, it's getting less afraid of me.

JYD,
less afraid???
Next thing is you wake up in the morn with your nose in cat fur.....ROFL.
My Australian Shepherd Girl loves the smell of gun oil and always tries to lick my hands, when I am cleaning. I wish she were a little afraid once in a while.....I have to keep the clean guns out of her reach or she'll lick them clean! Wrong lubrication, there.... LOL
