Finally scoped the Browning
Finally got the time to put Rongo's old scope on the Buckmark. I was able to get it on paper but dove hunting interrupted. Will take it to the range for a proper test tomorrow. I suspect it will be more accurate than the shooter.

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

25 yard with a sandbag rest using Wolf Match target. 10 shots with two fliers. Now I have to get as good as the gun can shoot!

Nice shooting! And, a ten shot group really tells the story of the shooter and the gun, as opposed to the infamous "one shot into one ragged hole all day long, if I do my part" group
