42VKT M39

Post by Miller Tyme »

Decided to make a road trip today to check out a gun shop up in Indy and came back with this little gem and another Nagant pistol.
Its a 1942 VKT M39 built on a Izhevsk 1914 reciever that has to be a winter war capture since it has the communist crest on the reciever, but what I liked most about it is the Sako Hammer assy on the blot and it goes great with my B-barrel 42 M39

No such thing as too many M39's, nice VKT, :)
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Nice find and worth the trip MT. You have to wonder what made the holes in the stock that had to be repaired that way.
