Range Bag

Post by JoeR »

Here's a site that has a nice bag to put lots of gear in for $20, I saw it on another forum I visit now and then. http://www.lapolicegear.com/tabaoutbag.html All sorts of neat things on it, haven't really looked through all of it yet.

Cool, I use an old US Amy medic bag.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

I use the gym style bag NRA was giving away with membership. It's flimsy, but holds everything I need.

I have a "possibles" bag I use with the muskets, copy of a typical leather game pouch from the colonial period. Holds bullet bag, flint pouch, flint hammer, patches and patch lube, ball starter, pan primer and so on .
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

The possibles bag looks a bit like a purse, but the other bags I have look like luggage :)

I have a range bag that carries everything in the middle with a zippered pistol compartment on both side. Then small duffle bags if I need more room. Then of course there is always a 30 or 50 cal ammo can handy.

I have two tool sacks on wheels, one with a tool box, protection and targets the other with ammo, targets, staples and more ammo, both are filled and weight 25 to 40 lbs each, when I shoot its for the day and don't want to go there and have something simple F my day up. I also fix a lot of guns on the line, good advertising. oh yea, I bring at least six rifles to allow 10 minutes to shoot, 50 minuts to cool-Steve

This is what I use for a range bag. It is beat-up since I used it, for years, to haul 80 pounds of plumbing tools in.

It has a hard bottom, a inside divider, nine outside pockets, two inside zippered pockets, shoulder strap and hand carry strap, it is tough as hell canvas and cost around $30.00. You can find similar ones at Lowes or Home Depot.

I mistakenly double ordered the bag from LA Police Gear. Actually a pretty nice bag. I plan on using both. One for pistols and the other for rifles. Also have a super bag I got several years ago from Home Depot. Lots of room and lots of pockets.
