That is an excellent 50 yard target. I assume you were shooting from the bench?

Did you try shooting from a standing position too?

That is the real challenge!

Nice shooting! I got out myself last weekend. Had a battle between a '31 Tula and a '31 Izhevsk. The Tula needed a slight adjustment from my elby sight tool. If you don't have one, get one. They work awesome. After the correction, I'd call it a draw.

I generally shoot at 100 yards, this is because I can see the target at 100 yards. Past that I can still handle, but waiting for me to set up the shot is like waiting for a 90 year old lady to cross a busy intersection.

Nice shooting rifle. I too like the shoot-n-see targets. So many people wasting money on therapists when they could be in group therapy with us!

Very nice shooting. I'm going to have to try those shoot and see targets. She's a keeper for sure.

You spend a few extra bucks using them but unless you shoot them a lot a package or two will last awhile. I like them because I can see them so well.

I took one daughter with me and between the two of us we fired 80 rounds of good old Bulgarian surplus. Her first time firing a rifle (any rifle never mind a MN) and she did very well too. Next time I'm gonna try shooting skeets placed on the berm at 100 yards.

I should have asked you what ammo were your shooting. That makes one heck of a difference I have found. The "com-block" 147 grn shit can hold a group (this is at 100 yards--the hits at the top of the shaddow target , the head area, were me trying to hit the head...but all in all its a killer at 100 for sure) but every so often you get weird flyers. I have found shooting 5 round groups, making corrections in between, works great.

I plan on getting some very good Ammo to use in Post War M39 I have very high hopes for, shooting in military compititions. I would also like to do some reloading and see if cast heads would work out. Could be a fun winter project. I'm currently working on a .long range .308 load so......they are sort of close......some findings might carry over.
