I'm about to buy a M39 that seems to tick all the boxes.
I was hoping those more knowlegeable than me could comment on the pics. It seems pretty original with a correct war time stock. Not perfect but pretty nice for an 80+ year old firearm!

I pretty much did buy every one that came my way, but that was when they were $75 bucks or less. Later on I had to order them shipped in with the FFL and the price was up to an outrageous $150-$200, so I bought fewer of them. These rifles would shoot right up there with my US M1903's and commercial sporters. Impressive when you think it's action was essentially salvaged used parts over a century old in many cases. I even have a few that the government said weren't even firearms because the action was dated before 1898. Here is a $75 80 year old milsurp made using 130 year old surplus action that shoots as well as the marvel of modern technology sporter that cost me over a thousand dollars not including scope and other extra bits, just blows my mind.
