.17 Caliber HMR

I bought a Stevens .17 HMR rifle a few years ago and really like the way it shoots. Within 50 yds. it is deadly on gophers and other small critters that dig holes where you don't want them. I've mounted a variable power scope on the rifle and out to 300 + yds. it is quite accurate on larger targets when a cross wind isn't blowing. I could have spent much more $$ for a gopher gun but I don't believe I could have any better for my humble purposes.

I will ask a silly question since I have not seen a .17 up close. Is that roughly the same bore as a BB? .177 cal?

Make your post (Full editor & preview)) scroll down after typing your information/reply in and before you hit submit and you'll see the following (See screenshots). Click on attachments, then click on add files then navigate to where your photos are and upload them. You can upload 5 pictures per post I think, so you repeat the process until you get all your pictures uploaded.
You might have to resize the pictures. If you can't figure it out you can email them to me at
ffuries@comcast.net and I'll resize and post them for you.
