Hello, I recently bought a mosin that was made in 1940. And was later refurbished into sniper by ukraine. Everything looks authentic, my only doubt is it has a flash suppresor. Which I've never seen before. I did some research and only found one other with one on it. I was wondering if anyone else knows any more on this?
Tried posting picture, won't let me. It's a bird cage flash suppresor.

It sounds like it might be a Century put together. IIRC the Russians started making PU snipers in 1942. The flash suppressor is likely an aftermarket add on.
