Picked up this M24 recently, and the bolt and magazine have tula hammers on them, but that's not a sure thing right? I'm trying to identify anything from the receiver really to tell when it was made. At this point my best guess is "before 1924". What do you think?

The receiver is a Tula made that's evident from the hammer symbol on the tang. Can't tell you the date range, except 1900 - 1928.

According to Matt DiRisio's excellent book, "Finnish Mosin-Nagant", M24s were put together between 1925-1928.
Without a clear tang stamped date, it would be hard to say about the receiver.
