Coal in my stocking.....again...

Christmas Memory from about 20 yrs ago, we were hunting late season in Alleghany Co. NC, in about 6 inches snow that was there the 4 days we were there , down to about 10-15 at night, 30 in the day. There wasn't much movement in the day, we got some does I think.
Right before dark, you started hearing deer cross the frozen creek, bustin through, any where from 100 yds off to half a mile off some sounded like. As it got darker and darker, the sound got continuous and thunderous in the valley, must have been 60-70 deer altogether. It's good but different kind of Christmas memory.

Don't knock something that can be burned to keep you warm, very important up here at the moment.

I got gun tools (Screw drivers, torque driver, work mat, etc, etc), bench block for pin removal/installation, t-shirt from a gun manufacturer. Guess I have been better than I thought, to make out like I did.

Hope you all had a great Christmas. We did the 6 hour drive down to Calgary to spend Christmas with the kids/grandkids and had a good time.

But you know the older I get the less I like driving especially after dark. To many hopped up 4x4s on the road with those high intensity headlights nowadays.
Still was a good time tho playing with the grandboys.
