Recently I built a rack for my M44 rifles and I decided I would make the same for my 91/30 rifles.

That's because soon after the end of the USSR huge numbers of flags like these were imported for a few years. Problem is once they got here, they tended to be used as targets, cleaning rags, substitute toilet paper, and so on. In the early 90's memories were still clear as to what the Soviet Union was, and all the crap we had to put up with from them here in the western world for so many years. Let's just say respect was lacking, and now fewer original trophy flags remain.abrakadabra wrote: ↑Fri Sep 16, 2022 9:55 amLove the display! Those flags are a nice size. Are they original? I'm finding it extremely difficult to find any pre-1970 original flags.
Thank you.abrakadabra wrote: ↑Fri Sep 16, 2022 9:55 amLove the display! Those flags are a nice size. Are they original? I'm finding it extremely difficult to find any pre-1970 original flags.
I only have on original flag, it would be nice to add another original at some point. I also have a small collection of Soviet stamps, postcards, and photos.Junk Yard Dog wrote: ↑Fri Sep 16, 2022 3:23 pm Strangely enough I never picked up any of these flags and banners at the time, the one commie flag I have was given to me years later. I picked up a lot of other stuff, loads of medals, watches, caps, and so on, plus a shit ton of former Soviet rifles. Even coins, stamps, and a 1950's portable phonograph, but no banners and flags. Too bad or I would be contacting the member above and offering to sell one for a reasonably large amount of money. Making a big profit selling communist toys, such a sweet feeling![]()
