Need help
Would you like to use my Mosin-Nagant for a hunting rifle but I do not want to modify it for a scope all numbers match any help would be appreciated
Re: Need help
what distance is your shot range...? these old war horses are not all capable of great accuracy...as has been said many times, most useful, when new, for shooting their enemy at 100-200 yards/meters...anything more is pushing it....especially with wounding....

You can put a Scout scope on it, you take rear sight off and a picante rail mounts to the sight base. It's a good system, I've had 3. There is no drilling or permanent changes.AlaskaSilverado1966 wrote: ↑Fri Aug 19, 2022 12:06 pm Would you like to use my Mosin-Nagant for a hunting rifle but I do not want to modify it for a scope all numbers match any help would be appreciated

“Freedom is the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.” George Orwell, English novelist, essayist, and critic, 1903-1950
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
C. S. Lewis
