The Russian Mosin Nagant Forum

My 44' Springfield garand has a bold AAW stock cartouche on the left. I am not familiar with this mark nor can I find any info online about it. I hope you guys can help.

It's an Augusta Arsenal inspector "W" mark. More than likely from a rebuild.

I have a Winchester M1 Carbine that has an "AAB" and an "AAX" marked stock.
