Every holiday, my wife and a couple of the women in our subdivision get together and decorate the entrance. These two Nutcrackers were made from fence pickets she had laying around. She never ceases to amaze me, how she can make something out of virtually nothing!

Cool thing is she used piano hinges to join two pickets together, so that they'll store away easier, when they redecorate for the next holiday.

Yeah, my wife is creative that way , too. She also likes to play with power tools. (gets it from her mom) She bought a Scamp mini-camper that had been gutted, and rebuilt the insides the way she wanted. I had to rivet the new vent in the top, and replace to hubs, but the rest was all her.
Now I will be able to get to some shoots farther away, and maybe visit Rongo in his new digs!
