Do any of you folks have a lead on a good place to have a Remington 870 barrel cut and drilled/tapped for a new bead? Bonus points for a place that does good Cerakote work for afterwards. I'm waiting on the stamp, so it's not a rush job.
I'm also still trying to figure out which barrel to cut. I have a 18" Mossberg barrel and a 26" (possibly 28"...I can't remember) ribbed Remington barrel. I'm leaning towards the ribbed barrel, but I have to do some rust removal first and see how that goes.
Anyways, thanks for any suggestions.

Re: Recommendations for barrel work
Mossberg barrels will not fit a Remington. Remington 870 barrels are available in a pretty good selection of sizes brand new, and take a minute to change out. I assume it's the 12 gauge Wingmaster? Probably cheaper to buy a new barrel than pay someone to shorten an existing one as this would involve installing some form of a choke on it.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
