AIM Has Round, Hex and Laminate M91/30s Again
For those of you waiting for AIM to restock, they have and have the M91/30 in Round, Hex and Laminate. The round and Hex have gone up by $10 too. http://gun-deals.com/index.php?dealtype ... 4&subcat=5
Re: AIM Has Round, Hex and Laminate M91/30s Again
Thanks for the heads up Mike. I see they are out of the hand picked Tulas already
I'm going to have to get in on the action this time around!

Maybe you can still get a hex Tula just not a hand pick?

So you can buy more and avoid the shipping costs! AIM is a good outfit; I like the way they do business. I don't have a FFL or Curio/Relic, so my dealer ordered a M44 for me through AIM. I was very satisfied with the hand pick, and as it turns out, we are not seeing any more M44s to speak of. I also buy all my surplus 7.62x54r from AIM, because they have really reasonable prices and shipping costs. You are lucky being close to them.Longcolt44 wrote:Oh man...why does AIM have to be only 30 minutes away. Gun pickup day is Wednesdays.

I don't have a problem with that but my watchcats Rex and Magic might not be real friendly.MN Fan wrote:Looking for a room-mate by chance LC?
By the way, Southern Ohio Guns is only about 20 minutes from me too.

Trust me Chuck I'm about 1300 miles from them and it's no easier. I bought all Tula's the last time I bought the Laminates and didn't even think about getting an Izhevsk. It just slipped my mind. That and I only have 2 Hexes and this isn't making it any easier that they have all of them back in stock at once. The thing is if I get more of these I have to pull the trigger and get the Mausers I've been threatening to get. Man I hate this.Longcolt44 wrote:Oh man...why does AIM have to be only 30 minutes away. Gun pickup day is Wednesdays.

Brad you are NOT helping!! I was thinking more on the lines of 2 Lammys but Izhevsk's this time and 2 more Hexes. I already have an Izhevsk and Tula Hex so anything Hex is cool and I'd have to call Bryan and tell him what years I want. I've also been looking at a few Mausers and a Yugo SKS. Maybe these https://www.samcoglobal.com/1-M24-47.html , http://www.wideners.com/itemdetail.cfm? ... 0|701|1029 and this http://www.wideners.com/itemdetail.cfm? ... 0|701|1029 and this http://www.wideners.com/itemdetail.cfm? ... 0|701|1029 . Notice I said "and" instead of "or" above. I'm thinking about getting 8 rifles. Seriously thinking about it.desdem12 wrote:Ya ..6 or so hex izzys and haf in lammys...that sounds about right

Hex hand pick or not? I just want a Hex, don't care about factory or year. I noticed hand-pick fee not an option for the hex on the AIM site.

From what I see on their site, you have a choice of hex or round. When I clicked on the hex icon, it did give me the handpick choice; best of 5 for an extra 10 bucks. If you have FFL or Curio and Relic, you should be able to get handpick for 110 bucks plus shipping. This is really not a bad price. I recommend the handpick and take your chances. There are a lot of people asking for Tula manufactured these days, but I don't see a big difference. My Izhevsk is actually the best shooter I have. Either way with AIM you can't go wrong.jderimig wrote:Hex hand pick or not? I just want a Hex, don't care about factory or year. I noticed hand-pick fee not an option for the hex on the AIM site.

Do they do a handpick by year? If I could get a 32 Tula that would be great... Otherwise it's just a duplicate.

All those are great choices Mike.
Those M48s are super cheapo from what i have seen and iw ould probly go for one of those first. I see that at wideners they give the accessories pack with the 24/47s also. You may beable to get a slightly better deal at samco but if the bayo is matching to the rifle i would go for that too. I think J$G or someone has the SKSs $30 cheaper but i don't remember where. Good luck with the emptying of your wallet.

Nobody wants Tula's, nobody wants Tula's, nobody wants Tula's..........................you all just keep chanting this for me OK????
I really need a Hex Tula next, so hopefully some will crop up locally in the next couple weeks, I've almost squirreled away enough for another Big "R" or Big 5 trip. In fact I would have enough, but just ordered ammo last Sunday. These things need to eat too.

Yeah J&G has them for $20 more and they don't look as nice. I'm still looking around and sanity has crept in at the moment so I'm on hold. I'm like a kid in a candy store. We'll see how the day shakes out.desdem12 wrote:All those are great choices Mike. Those M48s are super cheapo from what i have seen and iw ould probly go for one of those first. I was looking around yesterday and i saw they were marked down from $295 to $279 but i was at a lot of sights yesterday. I could look again if you like. And see if i can find it. I am old though so i may just drive myself crazy doing it.
EDIT: I found it. It was SOG.
Also century has them for the same but says cracked stocks.

Re: AIM Has Round, Hex and Laminate M91/30s Again
Thanks Brad. Yeah there's a few places that have stuff with cracked stocks. I'm trying to pass on those but I'm always open to a deal if the price is right. ;)desdem12 wrote:I was looking around yesterday and i saw they were marked down from $295 to $279 but i was at a lot of sights yesterday. Re: AIM Has Round, Hex and Laminate M91/30s Again
I see the ones at SOG are now out of stock also. I would stay away from the cracked stock also, I think there are too many that have good stocks to get one that is cracked right now.

Re: AIM Has Round, Hex and Laminate M91/30s Again
We need to watch the shipping prices also. Just looked up a couple of places. I have a C&R, and live in Washington State.
AIM 1-$27.99 2-$39.41 Last year shipping was approx. $20 & $30 respectively.
J&G 1-$16.05 2-$20.43
Seems the base prices of the rifles at both places cost the same.
SOG 1-$24.25 Couldn't pull shipping costs off web site but I just bought 1 from them this month.
Century $12.95 all orders under $500. Can mix ammo and rifles in same order. But their rifle prices are much higher.
Classic Apparently they add shipping after order is packed for shipment. Why ????????
Need to check the total price after shipping is added.
