53' Tula SKS

Post by The Feral Machinist »

I picked up this gem up back in November. I think I took the pictures back then. Hence, the leaves scattered on the ground.

That looks like a honey! Is it a non-refurb?

Nice Tula :)

In the photos, it appears to be non-refurb or at very light refurb at the most. I like '53s and hope to find a non-refurb down the road.

Very cool SKS!

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

The days of inexpensive SKS carbines is for the most part behind us. Large stockpiles of refurbs in crates just isn't what it once was. This one is a beauty. It doesn't look refurbed from here, but regardless it is a fine gun. My Russian is a 51 Tula, but is a refurb in the bbq dress!
