Price consensus on an antique Colt

I am looking at a possible purchase, tomorrow, of a early 1920s Colt Army Special, in .32/20 in good to vg condition. The seller will not come off the $650.00 out the door price. I am sorely tempted, and don't mind paying fair market value, but I am unsure on this one. The Standard Catalog of Firearms, from 2018 shows that it must be in VG condition to meet that pricing level and I doubt it would make that on finish remaining. I would say the bluing would be in the 70% range. Other than that, the firearm is tight and checks out fine (short of shooting it). Of course, it might be some time before I found any .32/20 ammo anyway.
Opinions would be appreciated. Informed opinions would be blessed! ;)

There is one on GB for 500 w/ no bids, 6 more in the 650-700 range. I don't wanna be a biytch, but that's a curio/relic. Antique is pre 1898. Does not apply to pre '98 pistols if they have available modern ammo.

Price sounds about what I would expect. Depends on if you want it or not, if I really want something I get it even if I have to overpay a bit> I have no interest in selling, I buy for me, not some future buyer of my shit. I think I saw a box, possibly two, of 32/20 brass while digging around for something else the other day. Why do I have a box of fired 32/20 brass when I own no such revolver? Who knows, people unload this stuff on me all the time. When you post pictures of your new 32/20 I will go back and see about that brass.

I know the ATF rules on antiques, which has no relevance to the question at hand. I was requesting opinions on value.
It is academic anyway, I looked at the piece again today and I passed on it, It appeared to have a replacement barrel that did not match the rest of the gun, so collector value went out the window.
I am now on the hunt for an Enfield revolver that I heard rumors of. Stay tuned, tomorrow, same time, same station.

I balked, the deal is gone with the wind.
Just as an aside, in my on-line searching yesterday, I saw post from people who shot .32 S&W long out of their .32/20 revolvers, with good results in retaining their eyes and fingers while still being able to hit a barn.
I am hunting for an Enfield revolver tomorrow. I think I can get it for two boxes of 9MM and a handful of .45 ACP. If I have to, I will throw in a cylinder's worth of .38 SPL. Money and cards have gone out of style, lead and brass are the new gold standard. ;)

Somebody gave me a couple hundred .38 special wadcutters yesterday. I guess they didn't realize that was worth a couple hundred bucks or more now.
