M44 Rear Sight parts
I'm a noobie on the forum but an avid Mosin fan. I recently picked up an M44 that the previous owner had removed the standard military rear sight and installed a scout scope. I'm trying to find parts to replace the rear sight and having a difficult time finding them. Anyone have one to sell? I need the sight, the leaf and the pin.

Is the entire rear sight missing or do you only need a sight leaf? Those are available, or at least they were, from Liberty Tree and likely eBay... Perhaps the whole thing. But, Liberty Tree has been shut down for a couple of weeks... The entire rear sight is another issue... Did you ask the seller if he still had these parts? I would have before purchasing such a gun. If he didn't have the original parts, I'd have walked no matter how cheap it was selling for... By the sounds of it, it appears the entire sight is missing. Keep an eye on GunBroker for those idiots that part-out Mosins. They might have what you need if you write them. Also, keep an eye out on "barreled actions" that appear once in a while. Don't buy one with the barrel still screwed into the receiver. That would have to be transferred by an FFL.
