It's bad enough to have a storm in the Gulf of Mexico, but now it looks like we'll get a two for one deal.

Just as long as both low pressures don’t suck together and ram it up New Orleans, Mississippi, Lower Alabama, and WFL.

A friend of mine not far from you is buying a new generator as I type, he's worried about the storms taking out the power. He's got an elderly mother to look out for, and is older himself so a house without AC in summer is not something he wants to deal with.

"Larco" is what they will call the category 6 storm when these two combine and rampage all over the Landmass Known As Mississippi.

Because 2020.

Ol’ Landmass. We’re gonna get it this year. Like Katrina wasn’t bad enough.

2004 we got 4 Hurricane floods back to back, lots of big trees fell, lots of rock/mudslides. In the next county a whole mountainside turned loose, came down the creek about 1/2 mile. Destroyed several homes and killed 9 people. The Peaks creek slide.

True. The east coast has been getting a lot of the hits the last decade. I know a owner/operator trucker that helped in multiple clean up efforts. Good money for an independent. He said it was real bad in some places far from the coast because there’s no where for the water to go once it runs off the hills and high ground. We’re only 170’ elevation and small rolling hills in the Hattiesburg area, so massive amounts of water just don’t run off near as fast as for y’all. No mudslides or anything of that nature outside of river banks or the rare bluff somewhere.

We're 28 feet above sea level, but the house didn't flood during Katrina, so there is that.

There was a lot that did. We could pick up AM radio and finally turned it off. Very tragic and saddening.

These two don't worry me because, I was born in a crossfire hurricane. But it's all right now, in fact its a gas.

I may get pounded by downed trees, blown apart by high winds, burned up by lightning, If my house floods, all of you will be needing an Ark.

After all the cockroaches keel over from the toxic environment, Keith will all alone be saying to himself (Thinking he's still talking to Mick) "Mick, now that the bloody cucarachas 'r dead, waddaf*# I gonna, eat, Mick?"

The Virus probably has Keith. No way a virus could survive in Keith's lungs.

This storm is going to be nasty when it hits the coast. It is liable to have damages like Mike and I saw two years ago. My heart goes out to the victims.

Looking at the aftermath pictures and they got a pounding. I know they are saying it was a Cat 4, I haven't looked at the numbers to see how close they were to a Cat 5.

I feel for them, that is for sure, and they'll be feeling the results for years like we still are. I hope emergency crews and recovery efforts are on par with what we recieved. I can't complain with the amount of support we had around here, it was an awesome showing.
