One of our elderly neighbors that we drop meals off at, and keep an eye on since her son is at least 20-30 minutes away. He calls us from time to time, to let us know he's on his way, but something is up with his mom, so we'll sit with her until he shows up.

Well one of her caregivers tested positive for COVID-19, so now she's having to get tested, which if she comes back positive, that means we have to be tested.

With my health issues, this shit can kick my ass hard. So here's hoping and praying she gets a clean test. Until then I'll just self quarantine for safety purposes, just in case.

We will all be getting this sooner or later, all we can do is try to put off that moment as long as possible in the hope somebody comes up with a viable vaccine and it's produced in enough quantity to matter. Someone was marveling at how incredibly good this virus is at transmitting itself, kind of like it was designed that way. Good luck.

I believe it was designed by the Chinese at their lab in Wuhan and got out or was allowed out. However it is not nearly as deadly as thought. The vast majority who died were past the age of life expectancy and were in nursing homes. The others who died and continue to die are those improperly put on ventilators. Under the age of 80 and stay off ventilator at all cost, and chances of survival are quite high. While the media talks about new cases they don’t mention deaths. That’s because the daily deaths continues to decline, even though new cases are rising. Rise in cases is due to looting / rioting and probable cases being counted as new cases. Every confirmed case gets up to 17 probable cases. That’s 18 new cases for every one confirmed. If you do get it hydroxychloroquin, Azithromycin, and Zinc.

If you think about it, with mass testing we are seeing more cases. Also; with the forced isolation being lifted folks are finally exposed to it & getting it. But notice how the death rate is dropping? It's getting weaker as it goes through healthy people; Many of them don't even know they have it. We are on our way to herd immunity people, and that's a good thing. And all this talk about a vacine is folly... if they release one to the public; A BIG if... it won't be very effective; they admit that. On the bright side, It should burn out in the next few months like the other Corona virus' have. It's the next mutation we have watch for.

I'm sorry to say that this is the plan. The test produces 80+% false positives. So anyone tested is likely to test positive. And now with contact tracing, any contacts can require (depending on the state) that they be tested and then their contacts. Infinite loop and designed to happen like this. All leading up to world-wide vaccinations. Until now the infections and death rates have all been contrived. After vaccinations is when you will see real infection and death rates. This is typical of most all vaccinations, especially for the flu because foreign tissue and an assortment of other toxins are injected into your body. It's just not reported in the main stream media. Covid-19 is totally natural and all mammals have it. It is merely part of the bodies natural defense system to eliminate toxins from the body. Who dies from it? Only those who have serious preconditions so, naturally, the elderly are targeted because most are under a large regime of other toxic drugs and are very fragile especially those in weakened states, except some of us. And according to most states new guidelines, any person who has tested positive and dies, regardless of what really caused their death, the states (via their health departments) are told to indicate on the death certificate, Covid-19 as the cause of death. I, for one, will never voluntarily submit to the test or any vaccination. If a person truly has two gray cells to rub together they would instantly recognize that masks and social distancing are total nonsense. I could go into great detail but usually I am talking to the wall, so I won't. People anymore are well beyond the ability to recognize truth. People say that the Russia crap with Trump was the largest deception perpetrated on the US. That pails in comparison to Covid-19. This is a world-wide deception. Maybe people will stand up and understand when the cycle continues this fall. The media is already programming you to accept it. "2nd more dangerous wave coming, experts say, etc...". And, November, hold on to your hats.

Get some doctor to RX hydroxychloroquine and zinc. If you get it you will survive. Spent almost 25 years in the drug business and it does work in spite of media BS!

Agree with all 3 above. The mask thing is the dumbest thing yet. People wearing a piece of cloth thinking that will prevent anything. They said right in the beginning N95 or better, which is for any virus. Also I don't see any masks protecting the eyes. Does the virus avoid eyes? Of course not. It's almost as if they want to see how far they can push people. The ones wearing their designer cloth masks then complaining about people not wearing masks just make me shake my head.

As for a vaccine not a chance in hell I will get vaccinated for a non-deadly, non crippling virus. Won't get vacinnated for flu either. Not that either work anyways. Polio yes. Covid-19 big NO.

A video was posted of a supposed nurse taking her final breaths from Covid-19. She was easily 100lbs overweight, in her 60s, likely diabetic, and on a ventilator. Also was not given hydroxychloroquine, azithromycin, and zinc. Video was quickly deleted after hundreds called BS or basically stated what do you expect?

That’s the goal. There’s also a swine flu that researchers are monitoring in China that they expect will make the jump to humans soon. We’re learning more about the COVID-19 and have identified some treatments that manage it pretty well.

Here locally, the medical examiner’s office is permitting private funeral services to store bodies at the ME’s office as the private funeral service providers are running out of storage at their funeral homes. Delays in logistics and burials due to COVID have bodies stacking up at funeral homes literally. Some hospitals in Phoenix were prepositioning refrigerated trailers last week. Our medical examiner’s office has had refrigerated trailers and expanded storage for years. They provide medical examiners services for all of the Southern Arizona counties. Some remains stay there for years (mostly unidentifiable border crossers). When they released the statement last week, they said they could accommodate up to 150 bodies for the funeral directors.

And the chances are extremely high that the ventilator is what killed her. But cause of death will be documented at Codid-19

It's time quarenteen now if you can. Steve and I are going on the 5th month of it. I've been going for groceries,the Post office, doctors, and courthouse business with a mask on and that's it. No social events on my calendar. My garden is starting to come in and I'm gonna hunker down on the farm.

That's what I've been doing up to now-home, work (the courthouse), necessities and that's it. Masks are required at most places per county and city ordinance.

It would be interesting to read the actual county and city, indeed the state requirements. Are they fiats dedicated to a piece of paper or are they actual laws (ordinances) enacted by representatives that we put in office to do such things on our behalf? And if local ordinances it would be interesting to dig into the purpose, limitations and scope of such local ordinances and how they relate to state and federal statutes. If everyone had N95 or better masks on with eye protection fine, but the government and companies like Amazon are making it impossible for people to buy N95 or better masks since they are all ear marked for hospitals and first responders. So what is the point in wearing a mask CDC said in the beginning would do nothing? Wake up. This is all to try and hurt Trump. Can't wait til first debate and Trump wins in a landslide.

I had N95 masks in supply when all this started, and I am carefully using them to maximize my limited supply. I haven't left the property in five months since every single fucking thing I do during the spring and summer was, or has been cancelled. Antique phonograph show over in NJ, flea markets in three states, huge car show I attend every spring for 37 years until now, junk shops, tag sales, book sales, gun shows, estate auctions, range weekends with friends, all fucking cancelled. Even my Saturday evening steak with fixings at the local diner is gone, do you have any idea what my cooking tastes like? I haven't had a sit down meal that didn't come out of a box , can, or fit between two pieces of bread in five motherfucking months. Some grocery's I have shipped in, other food I had stockpiled before all this. I have been eating ramen noodle soup for supper every day for the last couple of months because it's one of the few things I can manage to cook without fucking it up, mostly. That , and I have an endless supply on hand. Eating ramen every day used to be a big joke, it meant you spent so much on the last gun that your broke, and have no choice but to eat ramen. I am not broke, no new anything, and still eating ramen because of the cocksuckers in the Chinese Communist Party that let a disease loose on the world that has ruined my entire fucking year, and it's not like I have an endless number of them left. I have so far avoided the disease, some of my friends and customers haven't been so lucky. None of them died yet, but they came within knocking distance of deaths door, and one and all say it was the absolute worst experience short of losing a loved one that they have had to endure. For some it was respiratory distress, struggling to breath, coughing, fever, for others the fun of violent dysentery, and vomiting was added, 19-30 days of suffering. Their warning to all of us is to not get sick, do whatever you have to to avoid getting sick.

I mostly avoid people, I stay up on the lot out of sight. Sometimes when I am at the shop people approach me, I see them coming and quickly pull on the mask. If they are stupid enough to come within ten feet I tell them to stop, social distancing is the order of the day. Trust me, with a mostly ramen and crackers diet, and all my favorite activities ended I am in a pretty bad fucking mood most of the time, and it's best not to cross me. I say stay back I fucking mean it, I say put on a mask if you want something from me on my own turf I mean that also. I don't give a fuck what people do outside of here, but in here my word goes, I will not allow anyone to make me sick, and I carry a firearm. As you can probably guess, this ain't walmart, or the local pub. N95's or a full face respirator, anything else is just a fashion statement, I bought a small steamer to clean the masks. The steamer will not remove dirt spots, but it will kill Covid.

Norman, the very nice man who handles all our DEP compliance reporting came home from the hospital today. 22 days in ICU, weeks more in recovery, we were told to prepare for the worst, but he made it, a New York City success story given the tens of thousands who didn't make it.

The other great fear is having this disease and not knowing it, 35% or more of us will be like that. The fear part is that I could give it to somebody else and they don't make it. It would mean that I did something stupid and careless, and caused someone's life to end, what do you call shitheads who do that to other people? A real concern given the average age of the people I regularly interact with is 55-85.

One thing is for certain, nothing will ever be the same after this. Many of my favorite flea markets closed permanently, restaurants I like to eat at have not survived, and it will be a very long time before I will feel comfortable in even a moderate crowd of people again. Many little shops were I might stop in to buy cheese, or tools, or cigars are gone forever. A lot of my customers have taken such a financial hit that they will not be able to recover from it. Failed businesses, lost homes and jobs, bankruptcy and destitution, ruined health.

Time to go make the fucking ramen, tonight I will mix in a small can of peas and carrots.

Yes try to eliminate Trump which would then make the destruction of America a certainty. This must be done to usher in the NWO. And, trust me, they all know it, including Trump. And we are on the brink.

To me N95 (surgical respirator) is as as bad as any other mask, perhaps even more dangerous for the wearer. It, as all others, isolates and holds in toxic levels of CO2 within the mask, ongoing, only trained individuals can properly set them in place to keep contaminates from entering or exiting, they are prone to leaks around the edges (always with men with facial hair), these surgical masks are designed to eliminate contamination from the surgeon to the patient (victim), if the surgeon even touches the mask it is contaminated as is the sterile zone (this is why surgeons have another wipe their brow etc), they must be discarded after use since their removal contaminates them. Would you put a used diaper on your face? That's what millions of people are now doing, sad to say. Testing has indicated, as with your normal furnace filter, the airflow is one way. In this case air coming in (with all it's passengers) but nothing going out to speak of. And what goes out mainly exits at the mask edges. There is nothing stating that anything the size of the so-called virus couldn't easily penetrate the mask, i.e., if virus transmission was possible, the mask would not filter it from entering the respiratory system. In fact, most masks marketed to the public specifically state "This is an ear loop mask This product is not a respirator and will not protect against Covid-19 (coronavirus) or other viruses or contaminates." And there is additional truth to this since Covid-19 cannot exist outside the host body. It is not living, it has no nucleus, it cannot reproduce and it cannot mutate to other "strains". The fact is that this so-called virus is very common and in large numbers in all mammals. It is simply the mechanism that removes toxins from your body. But, that is another discussion on what is and what is not virology. If we were to believe everything we have been told, the use of scarfs and other silly coverings would be outright banned. But, walk around the supermarket and tell me what you see? Stupidity and ignorance run rampant. Stupid meaning the knowing of truth but professing or behaving otherwise. And ignorance meaning to ignore the truth. I'm not in the business of attacking anyone, so don't take it that way mask wearers. You might, however, wish to think about what you are doing and why you are doing it.

As you indicated there is no associated eye or ear protection or protection for any other orifice in the body, for that matter. A person touches their eyes, ears, face, mouth and nose thousands of times a day. Would not those areas be contaminated and an easy entrance for the so-called virus? And don't tell me that a person would not reach under their mask to itch their nose with their already dangerously contaminated fingers (gloves or no gloves).

And, there are a myriad of spiritual and ritualistic reasons why the mask is important to those who demand it's use that I won't get into because of our forum's policies. But, trust me, they are significant, and to me, explain exactly why these policies and rules have been put in place. Yet the masses, even many leaders, have no idea of the significance of this mask wearing, social distancing, ritualistic hand washing and lock downs. JYD you are right about places being closed permanently. IMO it isn't worth it. We are all going to die of something. If you are older and worried then I can understand staying inside, but for those not as concerned life needs to get back to normal. By the government forcing businesses to shutdown we are not being given a choice.

In NJ and elsewhere it is especially screwed up for landlords. Can't get the deadbeat tenants out and won't be able to til 2 months after the emergency order is lifted. Then the courts and constables will be backed up for months after that. So free year rent for lowlifes who don't pay their bills. Sure we can sue them for the money and get a judgment but good luck collecting on it. Can't get blood from a stone. Yet the tax collector still wants that $12k a year in property tax. Kind of hard when the $2k a month in rent isn't coming in. I'm thankful I didn't rent out the apartment above my office. I would want to burn the place to the ground if I had a tenant refusing to pay for a year. I was offered a great deal on a ranch house as a rental property. The reason is the current owner hasn't been paid rent since January. Was scheduled for court and then courts shutdown. The trash will live there over a year rent free. I don't think I will be able to get them out as a new owner even. Even though they have no lease because that expired end of 2019. This whole thing definitely is politically motivated. I won't even get started on BLM.

Jim Dawg, watch how to fix bacon in the oven on UTube. You can't fuck it up. Then break eggs in a fry pan with melted butter and eat what ever they turn out to be, will be goooode. Maybe some sautéed Vidalia's and mushroom caps in a butter/garlic sauce. or just the bacon and eggs.

I do make bacon and eggs every morning, but I can't eat that three meals a day. Even now I have oatmeal with raisins , and honey sometimes.
qz2026, I could care less if you use a mask at home, the store, or while dancing naked to the light of the full moon. On this property in the vicinity of my person you will be wearing one or my boot will be so far up your ass you will taste shinola, but unless you are one of my eBay customers collecting something You are unlikely to show up here so your mask, or lack of isn't an issue I worry about. In this town if the police spot you without a mask at the still open deli's and supermarkets you will be escorted outside and ticketed. I have watched this happen across the street in the deli parking lot. It is a state order, and a county order. Like or not, right now that is just the way it is. The N95 is as good as most people can get, when they can get it, and that's not often. The ear loop mask is not entirely useless, it may stop a a stray virus or two a few percent of the time, few percent is still better than no percent, I will take it. Inhalation by nose or mouth is still the easiest, and fastest way for covid to infect a host, same as any virus from the common cold to pneumonic plague. Covid is still primarily a respiratory infection in most victims, only a small percentage get the gut issues, rashes, and other problems. One thing that the mask does do fairly well is help contain at least most of your sneeze or cough should one suddenly come on when you least expect it.
