Finnish Suomi

Post by TnBuckeye »

I recently acquired this Suomi and while I have read a bit on the Google-box about these I would greatly appreciate any insight and information from you all here about these.

It is a TNW with a SA mark behind the rear sight and Tikka markings on the rear sight base. No numbered parts match that I have seen so far. It came with a number of mags as well, all SA marked. The drums also have a Tikka symbol on them.

Again any insight and experience with these is appreciated!

Check Hickock .45's videos. on youtube , I think maybe he had one of those shooting it, he usually disassembles and reassemble on a lot of guns he videos. Very cool :vcool: weapon.

I had one until my son talked me out of it. It is amazingly accurate and fun to shoot if you are strong enough to hold it up. I had some issues with mine, and sent it off to TNW twice without then being able to repair it. I finally farted around with it until I came up with a fix and it works perfectly now.

I have one, these are mostly a novelty type gun, fun to shoot, cool looking and great history. Really nice with the drum mag.
The very atmosphere of firearms anywhere and everywhere restrains evil interference - they deserve a place of honor with all that's good.

What was your issue and the fix if you don’t mind sharing.
Thanks
