I have not been able to find info relating to the changes in Arsenal marks on small parts, such as small hammer and large hammer Tula , same with Sestroretsk arrows, I have parts with large and small arrows and I think there are differences in the bow and arrows as well?
Is there a time line to these changes?
And when did they discontinue the sling swivel on the trigger guard?
What about the cocking knobs, when did they go to the smaller knob without the relief cut?
Most sources I’ve found may say earlier versions, that doesn't tell much.

If that rifle has been thru refurbishment, it probably has a variety of parts from Tula and Ishvesk. Other companies too. One thing I read a minute ago on 7.62x54.net, Ishevisk used the bow until 1928, when it was replaced by the triangle. Also the Tula Big hammer was used 1919 -28 on the receiver If I remember right. There is some info on there if you dig for it.

This give you a visual idea of the changes that were made over time with the Mosin rifles.
http://7.62x54r.net/MosinID/MosinRef01.htm A close review shows subtle changes that took place between rifle configurations. And more detailed information on the M91 for example can be had by clicking the links.
There is a ton of information on that site and on THIS site (see the menus). As far as trying to date when such things as cocking pieces changed and how internal parts were stamped, I think you can only speculate but you can get pretty close. But a lot can be gleaned by a thorough review of both sites.

Or click the menu under "Mosin Firearms" at the top of the page and select the model you want to research.
