I don't think I've posted these before. I had another No.5 that was all chopped up by a Samuri sword, sold it. I traded a VKT M 91 for this one.

Nice jungle and it looks like it has the correct bolt with the hole in the handle.

Nice, I am sure you pulled the handguard off and checked the barrel shank for the lightening cutouts.

Yea the cuts are there. You can also see cuts on the receiver in front of the bolt handle. The big bolt that holds the stock on is hollow as well as the bolt handle. I'd guess about 7.5 lb. loaded. These were mostly made by Fazerkerly (F) with a 4 digit number

Yes, and they don't suffer from a wandering zero.

No they don't, I think guys not knowing the big peep sight and proper use caused that myth.

Back when I had unlimited .303 ( or so it seemed) I shot my No5 A LOT, never had an issue with wandering zero even with the barrel heating up. Then again I am used to carbines that shoot full house loads, the M30 Persian, Berthier, and Lebel carbines, and so on. Some people complain about "recoil" and " muzzle blast" whatever the hell those things are, it makes them timid shooters and prone to flinches due to these imaginary problems.
