The Russian Mosin Nagant Forum

With less than 1,000 made this is for sure one of the rarer Mauser models and not easy to find - at least in all-matching condition. My personal survey has yielded so far only three truly all-matching examples worldwide - two are sitting now in my gunsafe, the third one is belonging to a US collector.
Here now the pictures:

More pictures:

And some more details:
While the rifle is in overall very nice condition with a very good stock and absolutely no rust pitting under the wood line, bore condition regrettably has suffered from corrosive ammo, sloppy cleaning, the humid Brazilian climate, etc.
But when I tried it out at the range (using Brazilian 162 gr FMJ-BT ammo from 1988), the results were better than I had expected:

Serial number stamped parts:

And the last ones:
Okay, the bayonet's s/no. isn't matching, but it's a correct Brazilian M1935 bayonet from my collection, and exactly 500 numbers away from the rifle's s/no.

That makes me want to throw my Brazilian in the trash....

(Very nice rifle!)

Very nice, very nice indeed!

I would guess that at least one would be in Brazil, probably in some obscure museum.

Wow just Wow...

I hope you are not offended but I would sleep with this one.

Very nice.

You seem to find the sweet ones... Very nice indeed. 7mm?
