The Russian Mosin Nagant Forum

Hey folks!

Would really like your help in identifying this 7.62x54R I found in an estate sale. From what I've gathered, its East German and that's about it. I have yet to see this type of spam can/crate on any of my online searches.

If anyone knows any production properties and its potential value I would greatly appreciate it! (Also pictured is one can of what I could tell is Hungarian ammo!)

Thanks everyone!

Bit of a late post but that bottom part of the picture clearly says it's Czech ammo made for East Germany. So it would probably be more correct to call it Czech ammo as to it's value I'll leave that to the more experienced members. And as for it's properties try http://7.62x54r.net/
