If it fires black powder, it is discussed here.

Miniature barrels

Post by Tcmosin »

Has anyone run across any miniature barrels or kits for black powder rifles and pistols. Found these at a estate sale a while back, appear to be about 22 cal, rifled, what do you think. Any info would be helpful.

There has been a kit for everything black powder at one time or another. Looks like the makings of a nice project.

That's a new one.
Every squirrel rifle I've ever heard of was .36 cal. Have they been used?

They haven't been used, no port/hole for primer, was thinking about making a replica of a long gun with matching pistol. Sure would look cool in a display case in a den.

Most squirrel rifles are .32 in my neck of the woods with .36 a distant second place.
Somebody made some .25 caliber front loader barrels back in the day. The fact that they are octagon to round says that somebody had a specific style in mind.

I have only seen a .22 front stuffer from North American Arms, but back in the day it wouldn't have had much practical value.
