Real Tula Pu Sniper??
I have the opportunity to aquire this 1944 Tula Mosin PU sniper that was imported by Molot I believe. Any help on identifying if it is a true PU or just an Ex Sniper. I was told that the serial number of the gun is electro-penciled on the reciever side of the scope mount, i am waiting for pics of that. The original scope serial was crossed out on the receiver and the serial for the scope on it was added. I also had trouble adding the pictures to fit size requirements. This is my first post, thanks!

Only two things standing out to me are
1. Scope serial numbers on the barrel shank are an izhevsk feature, not tula
2. The mount cutout doesn't have a nice 90 degree cuts at the front.

I have seen this posted elsewhere, it's legit, some of the most recent batch had scope s/n's on Tula's also.

Yes, I agree this is legit. I also have a Tula PU with scope number on the barrel shank. Not sure if it was done during a refurb, but they are out there.
