I was shooting my Beretta 92S on Memorial Day and thought I was feeling some solid recoil. I was shooting Monarch Steel Case 9mm and what I didn't notice until later was that on the box the specs listed for this ammo are, "Velocity 1329 fps Energy 453 ft lbs." That is in +P to +P+ range for 115gr 9mm!
It functioned perfectly in my 92 and my friends Beretta PX4 Subcompact (which is picky with ammo). I wondered if any of you guys have shot this or better ran this through a chronograph.
I know Monarch steel case ammo is manufactured by Barnaul but the specs are much different than Brown Bear 9mm.
