Those of you who own a M1895 Nagant revolver and wanting a good non-corrosive commercial option need to check out Palmetto State Armory who presently have a sale on Fiocchi 7.62 Nagant ammo. What normally sells for $28.99 for a box of 50 is going for $14.99 a box while on sale. I bought 500 rounds and with shipping, it is about 33 cents a round. That is almost as cheap as spam can surplus. FYI.

This is good ammo, not as hot as military surplus, but better than PPU in my opinion.

Are these as powerful as Russian milsurp? I've got some PPU and it's about 60% what the Russian is.

The Russian Surplus is the hottest at about 1000 fps out of my 1926 Tula. The PPU was the weakest at less than 700 fps and the Fiocchi was in between at about 850 fps. More importantly, the Fiocchi was the most accurate load in my Nagant. I like it because you can shoot a lot of it and the cases extract easily. Shooting the Fiocchi, I can also wait a day to clean and not worry about corrosive priming residue.

I must have bought the last batch of the Fiocchi ammo, because the web site now says they are sold out.

For truck gun prefer russian surplus. Get it from Graf & sons when on sale. God Bless America. Pro Libertate Patria
