Dpm 28 build?

I'm thinking seriously about stating a build from a Dpm parts kit. Has anyone did one or assisted in a build? The kits are fairly reasonable but on the other hand barrels and receivers (if needed to be replaced) are pretty expencive.

"Legal" semi auto kits and receivers.
I think the DPM are easier to build then the AK's. If you are buying one of their ready receivers (through a 01FFL dealer), I think it is a fairly easy firearm to build. I've been looking at them. But over all, they are pretty expensive to build compared to some of the other "kit" type. Sorry, no real experience ...... yet.
But there is a satisfaction of "building your own" that you just can't get from one already together. It's a shame these rifles were "hacked up" to legally get them here, but that is what happened. Most of them (and all the other full autos in the world were destroyed completely, so at least we have some in this world even if they are "cut up". A fun project.

Well I just got may parts kit in, now the expensive part a barrel and receiver. I will try to post some pics soon.
