Any idea what type and caliber of ammo came in these boxes?

I'm gonna venture out there and guess 7.62x39. I have the same can but not Chinese markings that had x39 ammo in it.

Looks just like the Yugoslavian 7.62x39 ammo box I have out the barn full of tools.

Yeah, I'd say 7.62x39 also. Looks like the Yugo box exactly. (except the writing)

No idea, after I got trampled there by a woman larger than the Hindenburg one holiday shopping season I learned to avoid that place and confine my non food shopping to eBay and Amazon.

I will leave that dubious pleasure all to you, that woman had a look that could sour milk, she backed her fat ass into me, knocked me over, then stepped on my hand. All that and I am the bad guy for being in her way, all that shit on youtube about Walmart people is 100% true. I gave very serious consideration to popping that shitbird except I was fairly sure all the layers of lard would stop even a .357 before it reached anything vital, then I would have wounded and pissed off hog syndrome to deal with. With a crushed hand a head shot would be problematic. I thought I would be safe going there a full month before Christmas, yea, no, and Hitler thought attacking Russia would be a good idea, we were both wrong. I hated shopping even before that traumatic experience, I hate it even more now, the internet was invented just in time, catalog shopping was so slow.

The only team who would be taking anything would have been Jacoby & Meyers if I had recovered fast enough to detain that woman for the police on a charge of criminal assault. Let me tell you something, 300 pounds tromps on your hand it hurts like hell, today with the arthritis I would shatter in a million pieces, but even back them I couldn't move fast after that. In retrospect I should have sued the shit out of Walmart for poor crowd management and piling too much Christmas time crap in the way of foot traffic. As for services we here on the board took a secret vote and nominated you to step up and take one for the team, I hear they have a nice facility on Guam for treating the diseases you will get from that, things will likely fall off, but nothing you will miss much should you come out of the coma.

I loved buying surplus ammo from SG, they had deals on shipping, and you got discounts if you were in their club. I was buying in multi case lots, there was a discount for that also if I recall. I ruined a UPS guy with all that, he blew out his back hauling cases in here and blamed me. I told him to suck it up Nancy, we all got our problems, your job is to bring in the ammo so get cracking. Between SG and Classic before they pissed me off I had 1-3 cases a week rolling in here for myself or others. I was blasting away 80-140 rounds every evening, more on range trips with friends and that went of for over a decade.

I had two cases of Chinese 7.62x39 that came in boxes just like that. Clean shooting, accurate and cheap. If I new then what I know now, I would have bought a heck of a lot more.
Damn, I'll bet that's going to leave a mark! Probably hurt too!
