Shooting your sniper

Post by jones0430 »

Over on SurplusRifleForum.com they run monthly postal competitions. There are usually a couple of different classes ongoing at different ranges.

One that I always enjoy shooting is the sniper. Normally this competition is done at a 100 yard range and they vary either the target or the position.

Last time it was allowable for elbow or sling support, but no barrel support. This time it is full barrel support and butt support (not bench rest).

On a standard 8 inch bullseye target I usually score between 50 and 70 with a ten round course of fire.

Anyone interested in participating?
