Another old Rem.

Post by +dhic »

I must be getting into 22's. I picked these two up Sun. This High Standard has a 6in heavy barrel. It's the Field King model
in 22lr. The Rem. Is a model 241 chambered in 22short only. I found a brick of shorts for $35 then I found the rifle. Those were the first shorts I'd ran onto in years. Both of these are in very good shooting condition.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.

Ah, yes the old 'shootin' gallery' rifle of carnival days long gone. I remember spending much of my Fair money on those in my youth. (They weren't all flintlocks back then, Jim.....)

The HS Field King is a classic, too. :vcool:
