Just a note, Rocky Mountain Reloading just bought and got set up their own machine to manufacture 115gr FMJ bullets in 9mm and have them for $45 per 500 shipped.

They also have some "seconds" for a few bucks less from when they were setting the machine up and getting everything dialed in.

I like that they have shipping included in their prices so no surprises. I've been buying their 124gr JHP and plated and very pleased with both the quality and service.

They've got a video of the machine running on their Facebook page, it's pretty slick, spits out a completed bullet about ever second.

Looked at site and that's very good pricing for 9mm ammo but I have a question/ concern.... I have never used reman or hand loaded ammo and I've read that there is a potential to get a "hot" round that could damage your firearm, do you suppose that since they are using mechanized and modern equipment that the specs on this ammo would be consistent and safe to use ?

This is not loaded ammo, only projectiles.

As a reloader myself, I can't recommend buying any of the remanufactured ammunition. Seen too many posts of terrible quality control personally. I've had trouble with factory ammo in the past, let alone someone who just recently started up doing it. I'll stick with my own as I can vouch for the process and components used.

Thanks for the input....thinking about loading my own on some calipers but not sure what to start with as far as a kit, brand, type, getting one with enough to start with for a couple of caliber a like 8mm Mauser, 762x25 and 54R and maybe 38 spec, wanna have enough to get started without breaking the bank or getting stuff I don't need right away.

Awesome price, but I cast and powder coat all of my own pistol bullets. All the benefits of plated/jacketed bullets at a fraction of the cost.

I ran into a leading problem with Hy-tek coated 9mm from one seller, not sure if the coating wasn't up to par or what, but the difference in price I just went back to shooting plated.

This is a good price. This is lead bullet pricing. As for reman ammo, I have had good luck with Freedom Munitions. 9.00 per box of 115 gr 9mm and only a little more for new.
looking for 8mm Mauser, 7.5 Swiss, and 7.62x54R brass
