I remember that shit crinkle black finish Century used back then. I avoided it whenever I saw it, but during the happy time there was a lot to choose from, and it wasn't all about the money yet.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Did. Didn't need the time machine, I was there.

The deals are still there. Twenty years from now people will be saying the same things about today's bargains. There is a time machine, but it only moves to the future; ride it. Save your coin, invest in what you think is a good deal today and pack it away for the future.

Steve is right. These 91/30's that are under 300.00 now might be 1200.00 some day. Better buy em now.

That one has been even more decked out then it was when it left Centery by one of thoses home specialist but you better hurry and snap it up before someone else sees this 350 dollar deal (shipped) and beats you to the punch! It may be your last crack at a genuine M39 Commando and no time machine required so make haste! No need to thank me just go before it's too late. :wave.gif:

Your point is well made on a hideous Gunbroker listing... And that's enough for us to know here on the forums. However we do not allow live postings of auctions nor do we want to see such abominations as that one. :facepalm2:

really sad how i got into surplus firearms so late.

interesting how they were selling already converted nagant pistols to 32 S&W. would have rather bought the origional pistol and the cylinder separately if i wanted it. but i guess when there is seemingly no end to supply it really did not matter back then haha.

That 1960 Olympic Biathlon Masterpiece for $9.95 looks like it could be a SCW. How about M91 bayonets for $1.95, wow!
