My Finnish Collection

Post by capt14k »

Finally got around to displaying my Finns. One wall is just Mosins the other wall is a mix but in the middle I have Finnish used Carcano, Tikka 91/30, and (2) Finn Captured SVT-40s. The Ljungmand at the bottom was mainly because I had the space and also I figured Swedish Rifle fit the general theme. I also included pic of some Bayonets that go with the Rifles.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

I got that M27 from Martin08. I must admit I originally wanted to try and find an Original Unit Stock Disc, but after throwing it out there on the forums I realized it was best to leave it as is. It looks like it was done many moons ago and maybe the initials of the soldier whose rifle it was.

I have a Finn M91 with a unknown steel disc with black paint on the back of it. That has drove me nuts trying to figure out what it stands for. I have finally gave up looking.

I believe it is a M27 Bayonet. At least that is what I was told when I bought it.

I would like to thank everyone for the kind words. Also if there is anyone out there with a M24 w/ SIG Barrel I need one to complete my Finn Rifle Collection. As for the Bayonets I am looking for a M28/30 and M35 Finnish Bayonet if anyone has one to sell. Please PM me about rifle or bayonets
