Took a look at gun broker today, I noticed there were a lot of beat up t-53s for under $200. Just thought I'd let everyone know.

These are probably more leftovers from the bunch that came in from the Balkans a few years ago. Albania was at odds with Russia so they bought weapons from the Chinese, they then got used later on in some of the unpleasantness in the region.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

One of my best 3-4 shooters is a factory 296 T-53......not a great looking bore, average, it just puts 'em where you aim, almost on top of eachother. Don't expect a cleaning rod or matching bolt, but if a cheap rifle shoots good with cheap ammo who cares?

Those have been running for a long time. Offered for sale by Sovereign Guns and Black Market Arms. I assume they both bought a large quantity of the last batch. Don't know if they are selling any or not.
