Uberti .22 yellow boy

A good friend of mine is planning to get himself a .22 version of the Uberti yellow boy lever-action. It is a carbine and it is used. It is at least seven years old and the previous owner has taken very well care of it since it is in near mint condition.
Is there anyone who can tell us something about this model? We have been scanning the internet and found a lot of satisfied owners comments on the larger caliber versions but hardly anything on the .22 model.
