I have a nice PU sniper so I know what a jaw weld is
the question I have is what snipers actually had good face/eye position?
I would like to pick up another WW1-WW2 vintage sniper that I can shoot and not rack my fused neck.
just making a dream list

Garand M1D, or M1C with the leather cheek pad, otherwise forget the early snipers, they were little more than regular infantry rifles that shot well and had a scope stuck on it.

Mauser snipers would be better I would think, but are quite pricey.

I've got a K31 Swiss that works well for me with an added cheek pad. ;)

Coming in late to the conversation, but I laser bore sighted my Mosin PU this weekend. I have great cheek weld using the open sights, but barely had any head contact with the stock using the scope. What is the correct form?

You got to get a good chin weld with the MN.
