Hornady InterLocks?

Post by Josh Smith »

Hello,

I noticed most calibers of InterLocks are on clearance over at MidwayUSA.

About the only one that's not is the 8mm 0.323". I hope they don't get around to that one as it appears to be a profile my Gew88 will like.

The 0.311" are on clearance and I use these for the Mosinkas.

Does anyone know if Hornady is discontinuing these? Or, why are they on clearance?

Thanks,

Josh

I shoot the Hornady #3131, .3105 diameter 174 Grain FMJ in .303 Brit and 7.62x54r loadings. That is one of the bullets that is not on clearance. I have also shot the .312 diameter 174 Grain Round Nose Interlock in .303 Brit. It is a very good bullet in my guns. I don't think you will see Hornady getting rid of these bullets any time soon. There are too many people that still want them. I see nothing on Hornady's web site to indicate they are dropping these calibers.

Midway buys in SERIOUS bulk, knocks the price down to undercut the LGS and knows if you are buying some bullets you might buy something else. That's where they make their $$$$. As to Hornady's business practices, good luck on thaat one
Damn, I'll bet that's going to leave a mark! Probably hurt too!
