Google Military slings and see what you come up with. That is the best I can do for you and nobody else seems to care to answer so far. There are so many good reproductions of military equipment around these days I just figure if it looks and smells dead new it is more than likely a reproduction. Things that are stamped with unknown variations of the SA stamp are now identified by experts as real but when I started they were bogus things created recently. Go figure that out?
Try and find repeated versions from sling collector forums and make what you buy look the same for to be honest that is what I try and do. Good Luck! PS buying what is proclaimed to be original when it looks brand new to me shouts that it is a recent repro and you usually pay more for that. Conversely if you bought it as a repro it would cost less. Bill
