Just got M91\30 PU Sniper

Post by Garrett46and2 »

Just picked it up! It's BEAUTIFUL! It is a Izhevsk 1943 M91\30 PU Sniper. This one is apart of the snipers from the tulsky imports. I got quite lucky with this one! The barrel is PERFECT! Clean as a whistle once I ran some boiling water accompanied by running a wire brush and patches through it. Stock is in great condition as well! Bolt action doesnt seem to have a hard time at all, very smooth. Very happy with this rifle! Tell me if you notice anything in the pictures! Btw some of the pictures were taken before cleaning it... and please forgive me if any pics are upside down or sideways, sometimes no matter what form they are in when I upload them they will rotated.

You move quickly and efficiently. Nice rifle! Now let's see that bore!

Bore is extraordinarily clean as well! I couldnt really get to an angle to take a picture of it but I tried... particules on reciever just dust due to oiling gun.

Slick. Looks like the internals were machined last week!

Im telling you man... hot boiling water, hot boiling water to loosen it all up and then wire brushes and patches. I was worried it was guna be dirty and the bore would never come clean cuz when I first looked down it it was full of black crap and had something that looked like a small twig in it. But now Its one of the cleanest barrels ive ever even looked down out of any rifle. Very happy with it.

When I get my sniper, I want to be able to eat off of it. So it'll be as clean as my limited mortal powers allow.
My other rifles I clean, salt flush, rust proof, and still pull brown patches out of.

Must be why Lenin still has such a healthy glow, they injected him full of that damn red axle grease. I must admit, if I have to store any of my weapons away in a bunker or salt mine, I'm packing them in peanut butter bearing grease!

Nice catch, next time try resizing your photos to 640X800. They show up much better at that size.
