Could be Chinese military, but there are also brass repros (possibly also from China, but I'm not sure) on the market - see photos below.

Yes, more than once, and there have been some eBay sellers in the past offering them. I don't know who made them.

Never seen these before. But.... if they work, that's what counts.

Mine worked pretty well with my Hungarian M.48 and my M39 - but admittedly I only tried them out a few times and didn't make a "stress test" with them since I've only three of them and they are more sort of collector's item for me than for frequent use.

I once found these Chinese rounds on brass strippers for sale online being offered as collectible and were 20.00 per 5 round W/stripper. When my brother found me 250 rounds in a cool old metal box I was only too happy to have them.

I got some of them from fleabay a few years ago. They're pretty flimsy.

I am not sure if there is a difference, but the ones I showed above don't feel flimsy, however I have never used them at the range.

I would have to agree... they don't feel as "solid" as the stainless steel ones I already have. Could be as simple as both being made from different metals.
Hope to get to the range soon to see how they feed into my MNs !!
