All right gents. There is no way that I can replicate this video that the seller produced, so here `tis:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eMc21xXZx7w
Do yourself a favor and just mute the sound out, unless techno is your thing. I find it incongruent with a 1924 rifle.
I'll put up a few of the still shots, too.
This purchase was the Fruit of Insomnia. It was posted on GB late one night, and I spotted it as a BIN during one of my early a.m. bouts of sleeplessness.
As noted in the video description, there are some odd things about this rifle. It has what looks like Spanish sling holders and a cleaning rod, but there is a distinctive "Finnish" appearance here as well in the escutcheons and the handguard, which is not original as far as I can tell. There are no Finnish markings that I can see. Heck, there are no markings anywhere except those from the armories that made the various parts. Concededly a bit of a mutt, but a 1924 Tula M91? Sold. Even my sleep-deprived status didn't affect that decision.

A couple of my own shots to show that yes, I do have the rifle

and the wisdom of using more professionally rendered images.
The stock is neither as light as it appears in some of the GB pics nor as dark as it appears in mine.
I removed the sling and put it away. SOP with me.

Very Cool. RCArms does some interesting presentations on the estate they acquired. The rifle appears to have Austro-Hungarian experience not Spanish based on the plugged holes in the forestock and under the butt stock. Some decent history in this one. Looks like the Finns eventually acquired it.

Nice. Something isn't right here. You find a gem like this and I'm still sleeping. Martin goes to garage sales and finds all kinds of stuff, I'm working. I never go to sleep until 1:00am or 2. I may just heve to check the laptop just before I go to sleep or between customers.

That is a great looking Mosin with nice markings and features.
Congratulations. I've gotten some of my best with a good priced buy it now on GunBroker.

Nice ..."sleeper"

Check under the butt for year mark. Rifle has Spanish look to me. AS noted by qz the stock is older then the 24 barrel, has Austrian characteristics like butt swivel and upper hole for swivel. Either a stock was acquired for a sporter or something along those lines done by whom ever had this rifle. (arsenal replacement or what have you)

I'll definitely do that, and thank you all for the input.
As with so many rifles, the mystery of this one will likely never be solved. I wonder if it was a Finn capture, restocked with an Austrian stock purchased by the Finns and given a new handguard, but never reissued or accepted by the SA. Those sling holders are steel, and they go deeply into the slots, criss-crossing one another though not neatly. The cleaning rod looks like an old Mauser rod. Maybe an armory project that didn't work out . . .

Wow! Talk about a million unanswered questions and this rifle has them all! Have so many thoughts I can't make any answers on other than wild ass guess's I would just rather let them all set! Really have no coherent thoughts at all! Way too many possibilities here! Congrats I guess? Bill
