I'll be in the Jasper/Birmingham area for a few days. Looking for any gun shops or good honey holes!

Don't know of any Honey holes but you can go to a kick ass outdoor concert about 40 miles nort of Birmingham in Cullman,Alabama

Friday June the 20 is headliner Charlie Danies Band!!! If you have never seen him in concert you will be amazed. Also will be Little Big town

Saturday night June 21st headliner is Lynyrd Skynyrd and Phil Roberson from Duck Dynasty--and Colt ford and Sara Evans

Birmingham Pistol Wholesale and Southeast Guns, both are on HWY 11 in Trussville. BPW has a lot
of inventory and had a good selection of Mosins a couple of weeks ago. The only problem their prices
were a little steep. 3 crates of Mosins, run of the mill refurbs $189, laminate stock refurbs$199 and
they had snipers for $599. No bargains on ammo either. I did pick up some Silver Bear 7.62 x 54r at
Southeast guns.

I have seen cdb twice once at state fair and the other at the grand ole oprt ice seen lynyrd skynrd twice also at moon dance jam. B24 thanks for heads up on shops those prices are same as what we seen at dutchmens in foley Alabama.

There is a store in Pleasant Grove that I see advertising on Armslist selling Mosins for $149.00. I can not remember the name at the moment.

I found a newer shop on 195 north of jasper bitter prepping and survivalist needs I think and they have half a crate of mosins all rounds some were Tulas, and one 41/42 MO izhevsk. All $180 and they have lotsa cans of 54 at $129 plus tax I passed on everything but if anyone's looking here ya go very nice shop and the owners are nice too

I guess the cans at our LGS at $109.99 is a fairly decent price. Cheaper online but by
time you pay shipping it evens out. Their refurbs are $189.99 and they can keep them
at that price.

D&k pawn in sumiton had half a crate of mosins all $189.95 all were 42 or 43 izhevsks but one was a 28 izhevsks. Had cans of 54 for $175 I bought nothing there. But I did snag a really good yugo I believe sks stock at fast eddies pawn in jasper
